Since we select the highest quality materials and craft our mattresses at our on-site warehouse, we have the ability to customize nearly every aspect of your sleep experience. We also guarantee that all of the foam used to make our mattresses is CertiPUR-US certified so you can have confidence and peace of mind about the products used to make your mattress. Our products and manufacturing process have been analyzed by accredited professionals with the collaborative input of environmentalists, chemists, research scientists, and industry leaders - also superheroes!

The Traditional Innerspring

They're hard to find but we're one of the only ones who still make them: two-sided innerspring mattresses. Custom built every single time to meet your desired firmness level & construction. They are made with the best innerspring in the industry, heaviest gauge coils & most supportive side steel edges - making them both comfortable and long-lasting. This high level of quality is hard to find since most national brands no longer provide two-sided innerspring construction at all, and they cut corners by using foam side guards (we use steel), weak coil springs (ours are strong) and less dense foam yet they charge much more than we do. Another thing they can't say? Almost all Shovlin mattresses can be flipped & rotated, allowing the cushioning & support pads to recover to their original shape & giving them the ability to far outlast those comparable national brands. More good news? We have attached pillow top options for additional comfort, if desired.

We manufacture three lines of our traditional innersprings:

Classic Innerspring

This mattress is comparable to a premium, top line mattress. The 368 double off set, 12.75" gauge coil wire (the higher the number the thinner it is, most current manufacturers use a 15 or 16 gauge) will give you the support you expect by shifting and flexing to contour with your body. Have you noticed that the first place you'll notice wear & tear on a mattress is by it's sinking edges? Well, not ours. Because all four mattress edges are supported by steel edge guards, preventing the sides from sagging and ultimately giving you a larger sleeping area - making story time with the kids that much more comfortable! The foam is dense (1.8) and the multi-needle quilted cover will give you the plush feel and comfort you should expect, allowing you to get that great night’s sleep.

You have the option of adding an attached 2" plush pillow top on BOTH sides for the total added 4" of comfort, OR you can choose a detached 2” or 2.5” pillow top for just one side. The Classic mattress height without any pillow top is 10", with a detached pillow top option is 12", and with an attached pillow top option is 10”-13” height.

Classic Plus Innerspring

This line has a firmer feel that many people are looking for since it's built using the 2.8 dense foam vs. 1.8 dense foam in our Classic model. It is more popular for those who prefer to sleep on their stomach or back. Like the Classic TriZone, the Classic Plus is designed to be paired with one of our True-flex box springs. This box spring will act as a shock absorber to help prolong the comfort and quality of the mattress. Unlike most name brands, our box springs are still designed to act as a shock absorber.

You have the option of adding an attached 2” or 2.5” plush pillow top on BOTH sides for the total added 4" of comfort, OR you can choose a detached 2" pillow top for just one side. The Traditional Innerspring Classic Plus mattress height without any pillow top is 10", with a detached pillow top option is 12", and with an attached pillow top option is 10”-13” height.

Classic Tri-Zone Innerspring

This is our most supportive innerspring mattress, far superior than any top of the line national name brand in the market. The Classic TriZone construction is designed to give the most hip and lower back support out there. The center 1/3 of our body is the area where we need the most support; it’s where a majority of our weight is. By adding the lumbar supports in the center 1/3, it allows your weight to be distributed amongst more coils, giving you the additional support you deserve.

The Scarlet

The Scarlet mattress, originally developed for Rutgers University’s premier rehabilitation centers, offers premium all-foam construction at a more accessible price point. With multiple layers of high-quality polyurethane foam, it offers great pressure relief and reduces motion transfer—perfect if you're looking for luxury and durability.

The Latex Hybrid

With our latex hybrid mattresses you can still have a high level of support but be pampered, too. That's because this collection combines the support from the best innerspring in the industry whilst being comforted by the 3" of cushioning Talalay latex (the fanciest & best type of all-natural latex that we use). In simpler terms, it's as if our Traditional Classic Innerspring & Latex Nirvana collections had a baby. This 'baby', the Latex Hybrids, is a fantastic creation - and one of our best sellers - because it also has steel edge support guards to keep the sides firm, as well as give you that additional sleeping surface close to the edge making it exceptionally durable and resilient.

We manufacture two lines of our latex hybrids - a flippable with an attached pillow top & non-flippable option to cater to your firmness comfort level:

Hybrid Sweet Dreams

This Hybrid Non-Flippable line is our only one-sided innerspring mattress, and is constructed with a medium firmness cushioned by 3" of luscious Talalay latex. We place this mattress on top of a very solid Semi-Flex foundation made of solid wood & metal, acting as a platform but as visually appealing as a box spring. In case you're wondering, many competitors use a foundation made solely of solid wood, causing it to squeak. Those who use metal too do not construct with the same amount of material inside, causing the reveal of the metal grid system almost immediately. Not only should your mattress be beautiful, but it's matching base should be too!

With the Hybrid Non-Flippable line, you have the option of adding a detached 2” or 2.5” pillow top for just one side. The mattress height without any pillow top is 11" and with a detached pillow top option is 12".

The Latex Nirvana Collection

You don't need to go to Bora Bora to get a piece of paradise in bed. Our Latex Nirvana mattresses - our most popular mattresses - have a following of its own! These one-sided mattresses conform to people of all shapes and sizes with very little pressure applied to the body and spine. That's because this line is constructed of the best quality foam base available, combined with six inches of all-natural Talalay latex (the highest grade latex available, that is both hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly) ultimately providing unparalleled orthopedic support and comfort. It really puts you in a transcendent state, hence the name! The best part? There's no movement in the mattress. If your partner has a restless night sleeping; comes to bed late or gets up early, you can rest assured (literally!) you will not feel a thing.

The Latex Nirvana line provides you with up to 33% more pressure relief than conventional or memory foam bedding, cradling all body types with superior support by adding 6" of Talalay latex near the surface, giving you support from head to toe. It outlasts the Tempurpedic brand models, as well as other nationally known memory foam and innerspring brands. This is due to the fact that we build our mattresses with the highest quality latex materials in the industry (while they use man-made products created by blending latex with other materials to create an inexpensive, inferior alternative). As a result, no turning or flipping is needed to maintain its perfection. While a Latex Nirvana Collection mattress can cost more than conventional innerspring mattresses, latex will support you longer, more comfortably night after night for years to come.

We place this mattress on top of a very solid Semi-Flex foundation made of solid wood & metal, acting as a platform but as visually appealing as a box spring. It's even better on an adjustable power base to truly get that French-Polynesia-villa-over-water luxury experience. The Latex Nirvana line has a mattress height of 11" and an option of adding a detached, one-sided 2” or 2.5” pillow top for 13" height total.
